GREAT NEWS!

Ozark Public Television (PBS) (http://www.optv.org/) has confirmed it will air on February 12, 8pm, a collection of the 2006 / 2007 SATO48 films as one of their "Ozarks Reflections" episodes!

In a subsequent announcement we'll tell you which films were chosen, but until then MARK YOUR CALENDARS and SET YOUR DVRs (Mediacom 13; KOZK-TV Channel 21 in Springfield; and KOZJ-TV Channel 26 in Joplin).

This is a great opportunity for all SATO48 filmmakers past, present and future as the programming director has expressed interest in 2008 and 2009 entries...

And for the viewing public a low-cost (i.e., FREE) way to support local filmmakers -- USE COMMENTS TO OUR NEWS-LEADER BLOG (News-Leader.com/blogs/SATO48) TO WRITE YOUR REVIEWS OF THE FILMS.

Ozarks Public Television provides PBS television services to 549,540 households in Southwest Missouri and the adjoining three state area, broadcasts 168 hours of programming per week with a supporting membership of about 6,500 members and over 100 corporate and institutional underwriters.

SATO48 and PBS have been working to make this happen for filmmakers for over two years and we look forward to many more opportunities to showcase their  talent.
